KD Displays started as a family run operation that primarily dealt with floorcovering displays. “KD” stands for Knock Down and its meaning was derived from the fact that it required customers to assemble the retail displays on site.

During its early years, KD Displays mainly worked with flooring distributors across North America, including major names like Bruce, Mohawk, and Kronotex. As customer needs evolved, so did KD Displays’ offerings. Brad Robinson, who spent his career in retail, set out to optimize operations. Recognizing that display companies were offering full end-to-end services, he aimed to create a full-service organization to help clients market, brand, and boost sales. At the same time, he ensured KD Displays maintained strong relationships with its original clients. With this focus, KD Displays expanded from floor coverings into a full-service retail activation company. KD Displays grew its presence in retail by designing store interiors for brands like Pet Valu, Blue Notes, Urban Planet, and Adidas, while also building retail environments for powersports clients like Honda, Kawasaki, and BRP. With over 25 years in the industry, KD Displays has continually focused on providing the best value for its customers. From humble beginnings creating floor POP displays to designing retail environments for some of the world’s largest brands, KD Displays remains proudly customer-first.
